Transformations: Humble Beginnings

Chrysler continues to impress me with their brand messaging as of late. It moves me because of its sincerity and depth. Chrysler seems to understand the collective feeling that most of us are feeling these days: the need to slowly recover after the worst financial meltdown since the Great Depression, the ability to become something greater than what we once were. Our struggle to overcome insurmountable odds to improve ourselves while still learning from the mistakes of the past, and the desire to maintain humility because of where we came from and where we ultimately want to go.

Transformations: The One Within

I have truly appreciated the Servant Hearts posts. These meditations have moved me closer toward the servant I want to be. I imagine the thing that fascinates me is how continual this process is. A servant is always refining, gathering and filtering him/herself to the goal of personal and objective change. A servant leader is always aware of how his or her actions or inactions affect others around them. This has been one of the threads that continually runs through all earlier and, hopefully, future Servant Heartsposts.

This is where we can give pause for a moment …
